Our multi-disciplinary office is searching for a Land Development Civil Engineer to join our growing Team. While working alongside seasoned Engineers and gaining valuable experience and insight, you will have the opportunity to develop your career as an Engineer working on diverse and challenging projects throughout southern Ontario.
Our offices offer a busy, multi-disciplinary environment and the capability to work with a variety of experienced practising professionals (Engineers, Land-Use Planners, Landscape Architects, Surveyors and others). Most of the things you\'ll work on:

• Working under the direction and supervision of the Manager of Engineering and Senior Project Managers
• Work on functional servicing reports, preliminary and detailed design calculations for land development projects including sanitary and storm sewers, watermain, grading, cut/fill and connections to existing infrastructure within the ROW
• Detailed stormwater management design, modelling and report writing to the satisfaction of the Conservation Authority and/or review agent
• Able to work with municipal/Regional specifications throughout Ontario and complete the design to receive Municipal/Regional approval in a timely manner
• Preparation of quantity take offs, cost estimates and tender documents, addenda, bid analysis and recommendation, assist the client with the bidding process
• Ability to work in a fast paced office environment

Qualifications

You\'ll need to have:

• Degree in Engineering from an accredited university
• Professional Engineer or working towards achieving the P.Eng. designation preferred
• 5 years of experience within a professional setting in the Land Development / Civil infrastructure field
• Experience in technical software including AutoCAD and Civil3D
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and ability to multi-task, prioritize, and take direction
• Proficient knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office products (esp. Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Valid Ontario Driver\'s License and clean driver\'s abstract
