Harbourside Transportation Consultants (HTC) is seeking a Civil Designer to join our growing Civil/Transportation Group in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a wide range of civil and transportation infrastructure projects while working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team in a dynamic and expanding office environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop detailed design drawings and models for civil transportation infrastructure projects including site grading, municipal services, roads, highways, intersections, and active transportation facilities.
Collaborate with engineers and project managers to produce high-quality design packages.
Ensure designs comply with applicable municipal, provincial, and federal standards.
Coordinate with other disciplines and contribute to project planning and execution.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in civil design, with a focus on civil or transportation projects.
Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Technology or a related field.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
Strong understanding of geometric design principles, grading, and drainage.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
