Veritas Development Solutions is seeking a Civil Designer to join our team for a full time (in office) position.

Veritas Development Solutions is an independent consulting engineering firm that specializes in the Civil Engineering design for private sites (commercial, industrial, and multi-family) including site services, site grading, stormwater management and erosion and sediment control design. We provide expertise on Development Site Servicing packages in Calgary and the surrounding area while coordinating with the project team to ensure project success.

We are a small firm that values collaboration and open communication. We also take pride in our ability to adapt to any project challenges, while providing value engineering to our clients' needs.

Responsibilities:

Work with Project Engineers to prepare grading, servicing, and stormwater management plans Review site plans, survey plans, block profiles, coversheets, and other plans essential to land development. Use AutoCAD/Civil 3D to produce drawing sets for submission to various municipal jurisdictions. Coordinate with other members of the team and other consultants on design challenges.
Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in the land development industry AutoCAD/Civil 3D design software and Microsoft Office. Strong computer literacy. Fundamental knowledge of standards for DSSP and Construction Drawings. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to take instruction, work independently when required or on a team. Post-secondary education in the related field. Stormwater Management experience is considered an asset. Field experience is considered an asset.
