Utility Operator 4

. In this position you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of water and wastewater facilities in Dauphin, Manitoba.

The Person

:

The City of Dauphin is looking for a highly skilled, motivated, and enthusiastic individual who can perform the duties of this position with a high level of professionalism and efficiency. The following skills and assets will be required in the selection of a suitable candidate:

Grade 12 and minimum two-years' post-secondary education in water and
wastewater, environmental science, or related field.

Mechanical, plumbing, and electrical aptitude. Proficiency working in a computerized environment (SCADA, Windows, MS Office). Class 5 driver's license. Provincial Water and Wastewater Operator Certification as follows; Water Treatment IV, Wastewater Treatment II, Water Distribution II, and Wastewater Collection II.
Candidates displaying the proper character and willingness to achieve the required qualifications may also be considered.
