Role Description:
Provides day to day operational technical support for the delivery of data, wireless services , including 24 hour on-call support.
Monitors the operation of telecom network systems. Performs complex duties relating to network operations, installations, and/or maintenance for local, off-site, and/ or remote locations
Serves as a technical specialist for the resolution of complex network related problems
Manages the team queue of issues ensuring timely resolution
Performs initial telephony technology evaluation and pre-implementation testing of hardware and software.
Implements telephony POC designs into full-scale production systems involving configuration and deployment of Enterprise Cisco Data/Wireless Platforms
Develops and builds network design documentation and diagrams of telephony infrastructure
Provides technical consulting services on Data/Wireless technology to business clients
Acts as a project manager for small, medium and large-scale IT Data networking projects
Manages and controls the contractual relationship with IT Telecom service providers
Communicate written and verbal technical topics and situations effectively to both technical and non-technical audience
Desirable Skills:
The ability to be a self-starter, and be able to manage expectations with customers
Strong communication skills and a strong sense of urgency
Advanced troubleshooting Skills
CCNA or higher
Route/Switch Certification
College/University Degree in IT, Computer Science or related field or Equivalent Experience
