About us

Pure Lovin' Chocolate is an ethical chocolate producer and retailer in Victoria BC. All of our products are Vegan, Gluten Free and Soy Free and made in our local production facility.

We are currently hiring for a full time (5 days/week) customer/food service position at our Fan Tan Alley location.

Some of your main duties would be as follows:

Assisting customers and providing in depth information about the products. Completing sales using POS system and debit/credit machine, and cash handling. Packaging and labeling products for retail sales. Making waffle cones, hot chocolate, etc. using recipes and kitchen equipment. Serving soft serve ice cream and hot and cold drinks. Regular cleaning and closing duties ie: dusting, windows, sweeping/mopping, etc.
Some things we would be looking for in you would be:

A friendly personality A willingness to be helpful to customers and co-workers A genuine interest in learning about (and tasting!) the products The ability to keep yourself motivated to complete tasks to the best of your ability, and in a timely and organized manner. Great attention to detail and a high standard of quality, especially in regards to packaging and labeling products. To be reliable and punctual The ability and confidence to work unsupervised, and to open and close store independently.
Other important details:

Experience in a retail setting is an asset, but is not necessary for this position. A great attitude, friendly personality and willingness to learn is much more important! MUST be willing and able to work up to and during the Christmas holidays (not including Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day - we are closed on those days)
