Hockley Valley Resort is seeking a friendly and service-oriented
Golf Pro Shop Guest Service Agent
to join our team on a seasonal, part-time basis until the end of October. This role is key to delivering exceptional guest experiences, both in the Pro Shop and on the golf course. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for golf and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide exceptional service throughout their visit
Assist with booking tee times and processing transactions
Provide knowledgeable information on golf products, services, and facility amenities
Direct golfers and assist with course logistics as needed
Open and close the Pro Shop, following established procedures
Handle phone inquiries professionally and efficiently
Maintain organized and well-stocked retail displays
Ensure the Pro Shop is clean, tidy, and visually appealing
Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
Qualifications:
Previous customer service experience is an asset
Must have valid
Smart Serve Certification
Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and multitasking ability
Friendly, professional demeanor and team-focused attitude
Work Conditions:
Must be able to stand for extended periods
Regular bending, crouching, and lifting may be required
