This course is designed for those who have successfully completed Introductory Mandarin Chinese I or equivalent. Emphasis is placed on continuing to build on communicative competence and cultural literacy. This includes the further development of reading and writing Chinese characters, aural comprehension and oral expression.
Position Requirements
At least a B.A. in related discipline, with native or near-native fluency in the target language as well as in English. Preference will be given to candidates who have teaching experience at the university level. Only successful candidates will be contacted.

Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada, and the work associated with this position must be performed within Canada.

Physical Demands Pay Grade Faculty Sessional Salary Range Per URFA Collective Agreement Status Term Work Hours
The instructor will deliver the course on campus face-to-face on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:30 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. Instructors are expected to have one office hour per week.
