This course will focus on introducing modern Chinese (Mandarin) language and

culture, including the Chinese pronunciation system, essential vocabulary and

grammar, reading and writing Chinese characters. Communicative competence and

cross-cultural awareness are emphasized.
Position Requirements
At least a B.A. in related discipline, with native or near-native fluency in the target

language as well as in English. Preference will be given to candidates who have

teaching experience at the university level. Only successful candidates will be

contacted.



Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada, and the work associated with this position must be performed within Canada.
