Job Description

The Wild Rose After School Program executive committee is seeking a reliable and trustworthy person to fill our program coordinator position.

Duties and Responsibilities required for the position include:

-Maintain structure and strong leadership skills

-Be ready for duty at the school starting at 3:00pm (can accommodate travel time after high school dismissal) and ending at 6:00pm. Monday to Friday from September to June following the public school calendar. Can possibly accommodate scheduling around after school sports/organization commitments.

-Ensure the well- being and safety of all children (grade 8 to kindergarten) who are enrolled in the program

-Display professionalism and maintain confidentiality inside and outside the work environment

-Display and promote a positive, welcoming, fun, and anti-bullying environment for all children in the program

-Be engaged and supervise children playing indoors (gym time, crafts, activities, etc.) and outdoors each day (weather permitting).

-Communicate and collaborate with the program executive and immediately voice any concerns regarding the program, school, children, or families.

-Great part time job for a high school student or someone looking to for a second job with weekends off!

Requirements include:

-First Aid and CPR level C training (grace period given to complete after being hired).

- A Criminal Record search including a vulnerable sector check

-MUST already live in Saskatchewan and be a Canadian resident.
