The Calgary Jewish Academy is seeking a dedicated and caring
Childcare Worker
.The ideal candidate will:
Ensure the safety and overall well-being of all children in care Plan and implement age-appropriate, inclusive, and engaging activities and circle times Support the daily routines of our Early Years education program Demonstrate a strong understanding of child growth and development Actively participate in all aspects of the program, including physical activities Be prepared to respond appropriately in emergency situations Adhere to all licensing regulations set out by the Province of Alberta Create a nurturing and loving environment for all children Assist with cleaning, organizing, and maintaining a tidy classroom environment Communicate effectively and professionally with both children and adults
Qualifications and Requirements:
Minimum Level 1 Early Childhood Educator certification (Province of Alberta) Valid Standard First Aid certification Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search (dated within the last 6 months) Minimum of one year experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting (an asset) Strong awareness and sensitivity to working in diverse, multicultural, and inclusive environments
