The nanny will provide attentive, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate care for an 8-month-old girl in a safe and supportive home environment. The ideal candidate is patient, reliable, and experienced with infant care routines and milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide full-time care and supervision for the infant throughout the day.
Maintain a consistent feeding, nap, and play schedule in collaboration with parents.
Prepare and serve bottles, solid foods, and snacks as appropriate for the child's age and dietary needs.
Change diapers, assist with potty readiness as the child grows, and maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
Engage the child in age-appropriate developmental activities (reading, music, tummy time, sensory play, outdoor walks, etc.).
Monitor the child's safety and well-being at all times.
Keep a daily log of naps, meals, diaper changes, and activities.
Wash bottles, dishes, and baby laundry as needed.
Organize and sanitize play areas and baby equipment.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding routines, milestones, and any concerns.
Provide comfort, emotional support, and a warm, caring environment.
Qualifications:
Prior experience caring for infants under 1 year old.
Knowledge of infant development, feeding, and sleep routines.
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
Non-smoker; able to provide a safe, nurturing environment.
