Mt. Arrowsmith Childcare Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and experienced

Childcare Manager

to lead and support our team of educators in providing high-quality early learning and care. If you're passionate about early childhood education and have strong leadership skills, we'd love to hear from you.

What We Offer:

Hourly Wage:

$26/hour

Wage Enhancement:

Additional

$6/hour

through the BC ECE Wage Enhancement Program

Benefits Package:

Available after a 6-month probation period

Paid Time Off:

4% vacation pay

Additional 3 weeks paid vacation

at seasonal closures

Paid sick days

Tentative Start Date: August 2025

Qualifications:

Valid

Early Childhood Educator certification

license to practice in British Columbia required (Infant and Toddler Educator preferred)

Previous leadership or management experience

in an early learning setting Valid

First Aid certification

Clear

Criminal Record Check

(including Vulnerable Sector Check) Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to lead a team and foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of the childcare center Provide support and guidance to ECE staff Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and health & safety standards Communicate effectively with families and staff Assist with scheduling, enrollment, and administrative duties Contribute to program development and continuous quality improvement
