We are seeking passionate cook to create nutritious snacks and meals for children from 0-6 years old. Planning and adapting meals to meet the needs of allergies and dietary preferences.

Responsibilities

Plan and prepare nutritious meals that align with the Canada food guide and Child Care and Early Years Act Adapt meals and snacks to meet the needs of children with allergies and dietary preference. Plan and shop for supplies ensuring to adhere to budget Follow all health unit guidelines and keep records such as fridge temperatures and menu changes Clean and sanitize dishes and kitchen daily Collaborate with colleagues and build strong relationships with families. Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

Safe Food Handlers Certificate

Culinary certification

(preferred). Standard First Aid & CPR (Level C). Ability to Lift up to 50lbs Ability to work independently and as a team. Current Criminal Reference Check (Vulnerable Sector Screening).
