Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Psychologist to join our team at Focus Physiotherapy. In this role, you will work closely with patients to assess their psychological needs and develop effective treatment plans that complement our physiotherapy services. Your expertise will play a vital role in enhancing the overall well-being of our clients.

You can work remotely or in person.

Responsibilities

Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for patients. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs. Collaborate with physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary. Provide support and counseling to patients dealing with psychological aspects of their physical conditions. Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and treatment outcomes.

Requirements

Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited institution. Valid license to practice psychology in Canada. Experience working with children with developmental,emotional and behavioural disorders is an asset Strong understanding of patient care principles and medical terminology. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and team members.
