Westside Child Psychology

is a boutique psychology practice in Calgary, AB that caters to the psychoeducational assessment and treatment/counselling of children and adolescents, as well as offering parenting solutions and support to families. We are a professional, newly built office in the Aspen Landing development that provides a professional yet fresh and energetic atmosphere for both clients and staff.

Seeking to add 2 psychologists to our growing close-knit team:



Westside Child Psychology has just completed expanding our physical space in Aspen Landing; adding three more offices adjoining our current space.

Start date

: September 1, 2025

Schedule

: Part-time and Full-time positions are available; flexibility in hours and days based on preference.

Clients

: all client referrals and an immediate case load provided

Compensation:

A competitive compensation as an independent contractor between $10,000-$20,000.00 per month depending on number of client hours

Location:

333 Aspen Glen Landing SW where you will be provided a brand new fully furnished office space and free parking.

Ideal Candidate:



Our next team member will have a passion for child psychology and a heart for client centered care. This psychologist will have high degree of integrity for their work and value working as part of a team with shared interests.

Training and experience with both counselling and formal psychoeducational assessments would be an asset, though both modalities not required. A high degree of competence and experience is required within one modality.

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned registered psychologist with 3+ years of experience post registration.

Qualifications:



Registered Psychologist (some consideration will be provided to an exceptional provisional psychologist candidate) Active permit to practice with the College of Alberta Psychologists without restriction Competency in counselling and/or assessment of childhood disorders and in working with children, young adults, and their families. Experience in working with parents and their young children (aged 3 years and up) an asset Have professional liability insurance Able to provide an updated clear criminal background search with vulnerable sector check Demonstrate a deep knowledge base of childhood disorders Demonstrate a well-developed communication style, both verbally and written, that results in assessment reports that stand above the rest Consultation experience with schools (e.g., school observations, IPP meetings/planning), pediatricians, psychiatrists, and other professionals as part of, and following the assessment process. Familiarity with Q-Interactive/Q-Global is an asset but not required
