, you'll play a key role in scaling our marketplace, driving strategic partnerships, and leading investor conversations as we prepare for fundraising.

Key Responsibilities
Revenue & Growth Strategy
Define and execute revenue models (subscriptions, commission-based sales, export facilitation, premium listing, B2B upsells, etc.)
Build monetization strategies to scale vendor and buyer acquisition
Launch and oversee key financial products and partnerships (e.g., trade finance, logistics upsells)
Investor Relations & Capital Strategy
Develop investor pitch decks and funding narratives
Identify and build relationships with angel investors, VCs, trade accelerators, and strategic capital partners
Represent the company in pitch events, demo days, and investor calls
Track metrics and growth KPIs to support funding rounds
Vendor & Strategic Partnerships
Lead vendor acquisition in Africa and the diaspora
Establish partnerships with manufacturers, wholesalers, logistics firms, and trade groups
Coordinate with marketing and product teams to align revenue with user experience
Ideal Candidate Profile
Previous experience in revenue, fundraising, business development, or early-stage startups
Strong network of investors or capital access partners is a
major plus
Excellent communication, pitch, and relationship-building skills
Experience with e-commerce, cross-border trade, fintech, or SaaS models
Visionary thinker with solid execution ability and financial literacy
Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in ambiguity
