Job Description


Chief Financial Officer (CFO)The Sr. M&A Consultant/CFO is responsible for managing and overseeing the company\'s financial operations, both domestically and internationally, including intercompany costs and transactions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the finance department and managing all financial matters.
  • Collaborating with the CEO and President to raise funds, negotiate, and close financial transactions.
  • Assisting the CEO in M&A and integration activities.
  • Defining the company\'s strategic direction with the management team.
  • Managing and negotiating contracts, agreements, and major relationships with suppliers, partners, landlords, and customers.
  • Overseeing cash management and implementing best practices for financial controls and reporting.
  • Managing financial controlling activities, including working capital management, budgeting, tax, and compliance.
  • Preparing monthly financial statements and budgets, including consolidations.
  • Establishing budgets and resource allocations to meet business targets and objectives.
  • Developing financial models, cost models, and monthly financial reports.
  • Ensuring timely execution of investor reporting requirements and customer deliverables.
  • Managing relationships with banks and creditors.
  • Coordinating year-end reviews with external accounting firms.
  • Overseeing the submission of annual SRED submissions.
Required Experience:
  • CPA CA designation preferred and/or MBA.
  • Minimum 8 years experience in senior financial management or CFO roles, ideally within a growth company.
  • Proven track record in fundraising, acquisitions, integrations, and day-to-day business management.
  • Experience in the technology.
  • Experience in recurring revenue, facility-based businesses, and recapitalization processes.
  • Ability to produce complex consolidated financial statements for multi-currency, multi-branch organizations.
  • Technical skills in financial reporting, analysis, and cash flow management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills with the ability to apply judgment to evaluate issues and data.
  • Ability to develop effective relationships with internal and external contacts.
  • Team player with a strong desire to contribute to day-to-day operations.
  • Willingness to travel.
