As we continue to grow and expand our market presence, we seek a dynamic and experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our executive team. **Position Overview:** The COO will be a pivotal member of the executive team, responsible for the overall operations of the company. This includes managing production, processing, and manufacturing activities to ensure operational efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the production, processing, or manufacturing sectors, with a strong track record of driving operational excellence and implementing best practices. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Operational Strategy and Planning:** - Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with NOVEM\'s business goals. - Oversee the planning and execution of production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization. - **Production and Processing Management:** - Manage all aspects of production, processing, and manufacturing operations to ensure high-quality output. - Continuously improve processes and systems to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality. - **Supply Chain and Logistics:** - Oversee supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, and distribution. - Ensure seamless coordination between supply chain functions to meet operational objectives. - **Quality Assurance and Compliance:** - Implement and maintain quality assurance programs to ensure products meet or exceed industry standards and regulatory requirements. - Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations. - **Cost Management:** - Develop and manage operational budgets to control costs and optimize expenditures. - Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies. - **Leadership and Team Development:** - Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. - Promote teamwork, collaboration, and open communication within the operations department and across the organization. - **Technology and Innovation:** - Leverage technology and innovative practices to enhance operational capabilities and efficiency. - Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements to keep NOVEM at the forefront of operational excellence. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. - Minimum of 10 years of experience in senior operational leadership roles within the production, processing, or manufacturing sectors, preferably in the agrifood or pharmaceuticals industry. - Proven experience in managing large-scale operations and driving operational improvements. - Strong knowledge of supply chain management, production planning, and quality assurance. - Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities. - Strong analytical skills with a focus on detail and accuracy. - High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation. **Benefits:** - Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses - Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance - Paid time off and holidays - Professional development opportunities **Application Process:** Interested candidates are invited to submit their resume, a cover letter detailing their relevant experience, and references through indeed.
