Chief Operating Officer (COO) - Fintech
Samsung is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and oversee the operational functions of our Fintech division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial technology, strategic operations, and leadership within a fast-paced, innovative environment. This role requires a visionary leader who can drive operational excellence, scale business processes, and foster collaboration across multiple teams to support Samsung's growth in the fintech sector.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with Samsung's fintech business goals.
Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and scalability of fintech products and services.
Collaborate with executive leadership to define and execute growth initiatives and market expansion plans.
Lead cross-functional teams including product development, technology, compliance, and customer service.
Manage risk and ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry standards.
Drive innovation by integrating emerging technologies and optimizing operational workflows.
Establish performance metrics and monitor key operational KPIs to ensure continuous improvement.
Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
Champion a culture of excellence, accountability, and customer-centricity within the fintech division.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a COO or senior operations leader in the fintech or financial services industry.
Strong understanding of fintech products, digital payments, blockchain, or related technologies.
Demonstrated success in scaling operations and managing complex projects in a technology-driven environment.
Excellent knowledge of financial regulations, compliance requirements, and risk management.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Advanced degree in Business Administration, Finance, Technology, or a related field preferred.
Experience working in a multinational corporation or large-scale enterprise is a plus.
