We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As a Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.

We specialize in delicious breakfast and lunch dishes, serving our guests in a friendly and fast-paced environment.

Position Details:



Full-time

(5 days a week)

Hours of Operation:

8 AM to 3 PM

Pay:

$17 - $23 per hour, based on experience

Mandatory Experience:

Breakfast cooking experience is required

Responsibilities



Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure adherence to recipes and cooking techniques. Maintain high standards of food handling and safety practices in accordance with health regulations. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings. Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and ensure proper storage of food items. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including equipment maintenance and sanitation practices. Handle customer inquiries or complaints regarding food quality or service promptly and professionally.

Skills



Proven experience in a supervisory role within a kitchen environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively. In-depth knowledge of food safety standards and regulations. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and presentation. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with restaurant management practices is preferred. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration within the team.
