We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Chef Manager to lead our culinary team in a dynamic restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for food, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As the Chef Manager, you will oversee kitchen operations, ensure efficient food preparation, and create an inviting atmosphere for both staff and guests.

Duties

Manage daily kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking. Lead and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen. Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Train new staff on cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen procedures. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Handle customer inquiries and feedback regarding food quality and service.

Qualifications

Proven experience in the food industry, preferably in a restaurant setting. Strong team management skills with the ability to lead by example. Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food preparation. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with staff and customers. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Previous experience in cooking is a plus but not required. A passion for cooking and creativity in menu development is highly valued.

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
