What You'll Do
Hands-On Cooking:
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to our menu, with attention to flavour, presentation, and consistency.
Kitchen Processes:
Maintain and refine processes that uphold top-tier food safety, sanitation, and operational efficiency.
Inventory & Waste Control:
Manage inventory--order supplies strategically, monitor usage, and minimize waste to keep costs in check.
Collaboration:
Work closely with your kitchen colleague now and participate in hiring and training additional staff as we expand.
Menu Innovation:
Develop new specials and seasonal menu items that reflect fresh ingredients and current culinary trends.
Quality Assurance:
Oversee portion control and plating standards to ensure every dish meets our benchmarks.
Guest Feedback:
Coordinate with front-of-house to address dietary requests or feedback on food quality.
What You Bring
Red Seal Certification
in culinary arts (required).
Solid Kitchen Experience:
Proven ability to execute in a small-team environment; ready to help grow the team.
Operational Savvy:
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation best practices, and efficient kitchen workflows.
Inventory Expertise:
Experience managing stock levels, ordering, and waste reduction.
Team Spirit:
Collaborative attitude and willingness to mentor incoming staff.
