Job Summary


We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to lead culinary operations within our establishment, we do prefer a Thai Chef. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring all food safety standards are met. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate culinary professional to showcase their leadership skills in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Duties



Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high standards of food quality Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with menu specifications and customer preferences Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock efficiently Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with health standards Serve dishes to customers when required, maintaining excellent customer service standards Lead by example to foster a positive team environment focused on teamwork and professionalism

Experience



Proven experience in food production, cooking, and kitchen management within a busy restaurant or hospitality setting Supervising experience is highly desirable, demonstrating leadership capabilities in managing teams Strong background in food safety practices and hygiene regulations Extensive culinary experience with a broad knowledge of different cuisines and techniques Previous restaurant experience with a focus on high-quality service and presentation Familiarity with food preparation processes, menu development, and serving standards Experience in hospitality environments that demand excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
