Duties and Responsibilities
Assist the Executive Chef in the planning and directing of food preparation.
Assist with inventory and managing of supplies
Prepare and cook food
Supervising and coordinating culinary activities
Ensuring the kitchen is always safe and sanitary
Skills and Specifications
A love and passion for food and a good sense of taste and smell
Good patient service and attention to dietary needs
Works well under pressure
Good attention to detail
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Education and Qualification: An excellent understanding of kitchen operations and at least 5 years experience in a culinary environment
