We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Chef - Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring food safety standards are met, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation standards
Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation regulations
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and high-quality food delivery
Supervise junior kitchen staff when necessary, providing guidance and leadership
Manage inventory levels, restock supplies, and communicate shortages to management
Adhere to restaurant policies regarding food safety, hygiene, and proper serving techniques
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant operations
Supervising experience or leadership skills within a kitchen setting
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent teamwork and communication skills with a focus on hospitality and service excellence
Familiarity with restaurant management practices and food industry trends
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $24.00-$29.00 per hour
