Duties



Cook the dishes and supervise all kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment and ensuring high standards of food preparation and service Oversee menu planning, ensuring dishes meet quality standards and align with customer preferences and dietary requirements Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste through effective inventory management Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain rigorous hygiene standards across all kitchen operations Coordinate food production for various service periods, including fine dining, catering events, banquets, and special functions Supervise food handling procedures to guarantee proper storage, sanitation, and freshness of ingredients Oversee shift management by assigning tasks efficiently and maintaining smooth workflow during busy hours

Qualifications



Proven experience in food production within a high-volume restaurant or catering environment, with a focus on fine dining or banquet services Demonstrated supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse culinary team Strong background in dietary department operations and catering services Extensive knowledge of kitchen management practices including inventory control, food safety protocols, and food handling standards Skilled in menu planning, food preparation techniques, and culinary innovation Experience in restaurant management or food service management is highly desirable Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to manage shifts effectively and handle multiple priorities simultaneously
