Responsibilities
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to menu specifications
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills
Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices
Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
Train new staff on cooking techniques, safety protocols, and restaurant policies
Requirements
Proven experience in a Chef role or similar position within the food industry
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food service standards
Supervising experience with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
Excellent leadership skills with a focus on team management and development
Familiarity with restaurant management practices and kitchen operations
Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
Previous experience in hospitality is preferred, along with a passion for culinary arts
