Hours:
Full-Time, Rotating shifts (Breakfast OR Closing), 15 days on - 6 days off rotation. Ability to work up to 10-hour shifts. Flexibility required to meet the needs of the Camp.
Breakfast Shift:
Starts around 2:00 AM and finishes between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM, depending on lunch prep and grocery needs.
Closing Shift:
Starts around 10:00 AM and finishes between 8:00 PM and 11:00 PM, depending on closing tasks and extra cleaning.

Kwadacha Nation (Tsek'ene) is commonly known as Fort Ware and is located approximately 570 km north of Prince George, at the confluence of the Fox, Kwadacha, and Finlay rivers in the Rocky Mountain Trench. Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director of Accommodations and Hospitality, the Finlay River Inn Chef will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the camp on a day-to-day basis, including meal preparation, accommodation management, housekeeping, inventory, and administrative tasks as required at the Finlay River Inn camp.
Oversee Finlay River Inn Operations, in partnership with the Manager and the Director.
Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods such as breakfast, lunch, sandwiches, snacks, hot dinner meals, salads, soups based on meal plans.
Bake fresh bread, cinnamon buns, and occasionally support the preparation of Chinese food.
Inspect kitchen and food service areas, as well as accommodations, to ensure cleanliness is maintained and performing cleaning duties as needed.
Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
Collaborate with other departments and kitchen team to ensure smooth food preparation.
Report to the Manager or Director regarding all food and equipment-related concerns and issues.
Clean up after all meal service, including wiping tables, counters, and washing dishes if necessary.
Support on delivery days, including receiving groceries and stocking them on shelves.
Comply with Food Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations.
Qualifications
Minimum two (2) years' experience, post-secondary degree or diploma in culinary kitchen management or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Valid Food Handler certification is an asset
Clear Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Search
Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License, and willingness to travel to Fort Ware
