Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect current food trends Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to enhance their skills Maintain inventory levels of food supplies and manage ordering processes Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction Monitor kitchen performance, making adjustments as necessary to improve efficiency Participate in the hiring and training of new kitchen personnel

Skills

Supervising experience in a culinary setting Proficient in food preparation techniques and cooking methods Strong background in food service operations Effective team management skills with the ability to motivate staff Experience in restaurant management, including budgeting and cost control Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations Previous experience in the food industry, particularly within hospitality settings Leadership qualities that foster a positive work environment Ability to adapt to changing menus and customer preferences Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members
