We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in the kitchen, ensuring that meals are prepared efficiently and to the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including cooking stations and storage areas. Adhere to food safety regulations, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours. Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or discrepancies. Participate in meal preparation for special events or catering as needed. Follow instructions from the head chef or kitchen manager regarding daily tasks and responsibilities.

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or food service environment. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining high standards of quality. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Familiarity with various cooking techniques, equipment, and utensils used in the kitchen. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members. Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
