We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, cooking, and ensuring food safety standards are met while maintaining an organized and efficient kitchen.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment
Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures
Assist with inventory management, including tracking supplies and notifying management of shortages
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service
Participate in menu planning and development as needed
Assist the Sous Chef in daily responsibilities
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
