Job Description

APC is seeking a Chef De Pari to work in Banquets, who will report to the Banquet Chef. The Chef De Parti is responsible for supervising line and prep cooks, while maintaining high quality production and service levels. The Chef De Parti is expected to assist in the training and development of staff. They must manage the kitchen in compliance with all health and safety regulations by ensuring adherence to sanitary and safe food handling guidelines at all times.Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Enrolment in culinary arts or diploma in culinary arts preferred.
  • Food Handling Certification is required, candidates who do not possess a current certification can be enrolled and paid for through APC.
  • Knowledge of kitchen procedures.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities while attending to details and maintaining a safe and professional work environment.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a kitchen.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered and on the job training will be provided.
Wage range: $17.57-$18.01/hour dependent on work experience, plus participation in the tip pool program.What we have to offer:
