Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of food preparation and cooking within the kitchen Develop and design innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to ensure high-quality food service Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety standards Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction Monitor food presentation and portion control to maintain quality standards Implement cost control measures while maintaining exceptional food quality

Qualifications

Proven experience in a chef role or similar position within the food industry Strong knowledge of food handling, safety regulations, and sanitation practices Previous experience in restaurant management or team management is preferred Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire kitchen staff Solid understanding of various cooking techniques, cuisines, and presentation styles Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding dining experiences
