Responsibilities



Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to the restaurant's menu and standards. Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring that all dishes are prepared efficiently and to the highest quality. Manage and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment. Maintain food safety and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and place orders as necessary to ensure availability. Maintain impeccable cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any special requests or dietary restrictions.

Requirements



Proven experience in the food industry, particularly in food preparation and cooking roles. Strong management and leadership skills with experience guiding a team in a restaurant setting. Knowledge of food safety practices and ability to implement them effectively. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Passion for culinary arts with creativity in developing new dishes. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with staff and customers alike.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
