The role

As a Channel Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for a variety of technical activities focused on our Channel Systems. These activities include creating, reviewing, and modifying application data, advising on the best approach to application and/or process changes and improvements, some administration and maintenance tasks, as well as supporting with troubleshooting, outages, and system releases.
In this role, you will work on the projects, configuration & performance of software and application functions, and support with improving efficiency. You will help to create products across multiple systems, research technical issues, and find solutions to maintain sales operations across a diverse distribution network.

A typical day

We work in a dynamic and fast paced environment connecting with stores daily to ensure that they are ready and able to make sales and provide exceptional customer service. There should be some flexibility in work hours to ensure there is coverage for our Retail teams.

Your skills/experience

• 5-7 years of telecommunications, operations, or SaaS experience
• 5-7 years business analysis, operations, or channel support experience
• High level of Microsoft Office expertise
• Proficient in Wireless channel systems (CREATE, RQ, Singleview)
• Excellent presentation and project management skills
• Excellent communication skills (internal & external)
• Strong time management and organization skills with the ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines
• Ability to recognize and handle sensitive and confidential information
• High attention to detail and the ability to analyze needs and requirements and to translate complex findings into clear and concise messaging
• Highly creative, self-motivated individual with drive, confidence, and the ability to work independently, as well as collaborate with team members

• This position requires the successful completion of a criminal and background check.
• Preferred location is our Freedom Mobile office in Toronto, ON. Vancouver, BC and Calgary, AB are options.
