The Corporate Security Systems Specialist supports ENMAX Corporate Security\xe2\x80\x99s overall mission to protect ENMAX\xe2\x80\x99s people, facilities, infrastructure, customers and public.

Major Responsibilities:

Responsible for all aspects of the video management system (VMS) and access control system (ACS) including but not limited to: End user management, application configuration, functionality, compliance, patch management / system health, system vulnerabilities, performance monitoring and collaboration in system design

Build and maintain partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, including law enforcement and industry, to assist in achieving current or future organizational goals

Keep abreast of new and evolving technologies and solutions and recommend improvements

Provide operational technical support, and system expertise to enhance the end user experience on the PPS and liaise with internal resources that support the PPS

Support and manage change implementations from an operational and application ownership perspective that will affect the PPS or daily functions of the Security Operations Centre (SOC)

Work with IT teams, key stakeholders, and third-party vendors to ensure proper network equipment documentation to provide a complete picture of existing infrastructure and conduct system audits

Complete and lead technical planning, testing and implementation of new technology and programming

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders such as vendors and ENMAX IT to complete root cause analysis and defect resolution

Work with necessary stakeholders to ensure system hardening

Education Required:

Post-secondary education in a field related to the position, such as (but not limited to) Electronic Engineering Technology, Information Technology, System / Network Engineering, IT Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Computer Engineering Technology

Possession of a Physical Security Professional designation from ASIS, or higher, or equivalent is an asset

Security certifications including CISSP, CISA, GSEC, SSCP, CompTIA, OSCP are an asset

Qualifications & Experience:

7+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience with Physical Protection Systems (PPS) including Physical Access Control Systems (PACS) and Video Management Systems (VMS),

Working knowledge of Softwarehouse C-Cure 9000, Milestone XProtect Corporate, and AXIS Communication products considered a strong asset

Experience managing and configuring security cameras and sensors

Demonstrated general understanding and knowledge of other areas within IT such as, Infrastructure, Networking, Architecture, Cyber Security

Ability to communicate technical security information to a non-technical audience

General understanding of system network architecture

Ability to develop security controls and processes to support an agile environment

Familiar with recognized ICS Cybersecurity frameworks

Experience in planning, implementation, configuration and support of network and firewall systems

Knowledge of physical and cyber security frameworks and best practices for design, configuration, and hardening

Competencies:

Collaborative and confident individual with strong organizational and coordination skills

Comfortable balancing multiple priorities and has the ability to work under pressure and within rigid time frames

Strong business and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders in an effective and professional manner

Proven ability to work in a team environment dealing with people from various disciplines to achieve goals, and to identify and resolve problems

Salary: Technical Services Analyst, Level C (Current CUPE 2022 rates)

$98,198.10 - $104,328.04 - $110,457.98 - $116,607.76 - $122,737.71

Location: This role will be part of our hybrid (home and office) work force with office workspace located at ENMAX Place (141 - 50th Avenue SE, Calgary, AB). You will work from home on Mondays and Fridays and in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
