& Summary A career in Knowledge Management, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to play an integral part of knowledge sharing across the PwC network so that we can continually provide better service to our clients. You\xe2\x80\x99ll help organise and manage various sources of information as well as provide research support for internal and external clients.
Our Research team supports internal leaders through research and data analytics to provide actionable insights. You\xe2\x80\x99ll work with our team to examine news media, litigation resources, securities violations, and other applicable sources and will summarise adverse findings for the investigating team. You\xe2\x80\x99ll also routinely provide procedural support to practitioners navigating PwC\xe2\x80\x99s client risk assessment requirements and tools.

As a Corporate Security Research Specialist, you\xe2\x80\x99ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. You have the drive and interest to identify risks facing PwC\xe2\x80\x99s business, to service our firm\'s staff and Partners, and support them in mitigating client risk. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Carry out pre engagement compliance tasks associated with client and project onboarding
Understand the process workflow related to work requests from initiation through completion
Gather market intelligence/data to understand the nature of business, ownership and group structure of clients
Conduct research on key personnel and their connections to the organization
Conduct thorough and systematic searches of media, Internet, and other relevant sources with excellent attention to detail to verify client identity and screen for other risk factors such as Politically Exposed Persons (PEP), adverse news and sanctions
Analyze, filter and summarize findings in designated systems, databases and Microsoft Office applications
Work collaboratively to share ideas and solutions with peers, Subject Matter Experts and Managers to advance KYC/AML program objectives
Communicate effectively and professionally verbally and in writing
Other duties as assigned by Management, such as Quality Control to ensure high quality standards are maintained for KYC casework; develop and deliver training, update process documentation, support knowledge sharing initiatives or other projects
Experiences and skills you\'ll use to solve
Experience with Microsoft Office suite of products (i.e., Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.) including an understanding of v-lookup, text, reference and logical information functionality in Excel or data analytics tools (e.g. Power BI)
Strong knowledge of PwC\'s policies, procedures and related risk management culture and appetite
Understand the business in order to provide enhanced client-centric service delivery
Exceptional organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and work within tight deadlines which may require flexible and/or approved overtime working hours
An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work
Ability to create scripts to support automation is considered an asset
Working knowledge of Boolean search strategies or third party research tools (e.g. Factiva, Newscan, LexisNexis Bridger, DisclosureNet, BoardEx, PPSA, etc.)
A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside and/or coaching diverse people and perspectives
