Change Management Lead Sharepoint

Job Description

Our client located in North York Toronto, is looking for a Change Mangement for a 12 month's contract opportunity. Working on a Hybrid model, he/she will prepare and equip stakeholders to receive and adopt change. The primary responsibility will be to develop a detailed Change Plan for the SharePoint implementation and program sustainability and assist the Project Manager with its integration into the overall Project Plan.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare for change by assessing the impact and magnitude of change, and the organization's change readiness. Develop a detailed Change Plan for the SharePoint implementation and program sustainability and assist the Project Manager with its integration into the overall Project Plan. This should employ a structured change management methodology.
  • Employ methodologies to drive faster adoption and higher utilization of and proficiency with the changes required by the project. Ensure a smooth transition to SharePoint Online and to promote maximum enthusiasm across the organization to adapt to the change.
  • Develop change materials to facilitate change engagement and to support the business.
  • Identify and engage with stakeholders impacted by the transition to SharePoint Online.
  • Develop and implement a training plan and training delivery solutions that leverage and incorporate existing materials to accommodate the needs of different stakeholder groups impacted by the change.
  • Develop and implement a communications plan that will be used to update the company and specific business teams on the SharePoint Program.
  • Lead change management activities with business teams during SharePoint site provisioning.
  • Identify and mitigate risk in relation to change, particularly those that affect different Stakeholder groups.
  • Identify potential points of resistance and develop counterstrategies to mitigate or minimize potential resistance.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring around good change management practices to senior leadership and program stakeholders to increase their effectiveness in driving sustainable change.
  • Manage the establishment of a community of change agents to put a face on change, and leverage trusted informal leaders to create understanding among employees and influence successful organizational change. This includes supporting and guiding SharePoint champions within business teams.
  • Establish program change baseline and continually gather information to track and measure performance. Adjust change plans as needed to improve SharePoint Online adoption and utilization
Requirements

Requirements:
  • A demonstrated record of achievement at senior level in planning and managing the development, implementation and delivery of technology change management programs within a large, complex project environment and to tight timeframes.
  • Proven success in executing a Change Management program for a SharePoint rollout in a similar large-scale enterprise environment is considered an asset.
  • Proven track record of successful end-user adoption.
  • Extensive experience as a Change Management professional consulting with senior managers and staff at all levels of an organization to provide pragmatic solutions to complex business projects particularly in relation to:
  • Change impact and business readiness assessments;
  • Change Plan and supporting engagement materials;
  • Communication plan and supporting materials;
  • Training plan and training delivery solutions
  • Experience and deep knowledge of change management methodologies, approaches, and tools.
  • Collaborative; work with program stakeholders to achieve common goals and resolve issues in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Highly developed analytical, conceptual, written communication and presentation skills including the ability to tailor the message to the needs and interests of the audience in complex reports, policy papers and written and verbal briefings.
  • Ability to clearly articulate messages that manage, inform and influence successful project outcomes for all audiences in IO.
  • Excellent active listening skills.
