Job Summary
The Change Management Facilitator is responsible for implementing change management and communications strategies to support CN's Smart Terminal Program (STP). The position facilitates stakeholder and change impact assessments, developing and implementing communications plans and executing bilingual deliverables. The incumbent ensures successful preparation for adoption of new technologies and ongoing system changes. The role communicates change to stakeholders across all levels, conducting surveys and soliciting feedback on cadence to measure impact and success.
Main Responsibilities
Facilitate Change Management
Support the execution of change management initiatives throughout the STP deployment
Assist with the identification of various stakeholders and carry out research and analyses to understand how they are impacted by change
Conduct stakeholder assessments and develop appropriate communication content for the target audience
Ensure timely and effective communication throughout the change management process
Conduct change impact assessments, carry out surveys, and solicit feedback on the awareness of the changes
Foster ongoing business relations with the business by participating in engagements on a regular basis
Establish measurable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to validate ongoing progress and success
Establish and standardize change management reporting dashboard for progress
Support the delivery of change management artefacts to the appropriate audience in both English and French
Support adoption of STP across terminals
Facilitate Communications
Develop communication plans and collaborate with the Manager, Change Management and Communications
Advance appropriate communication content for the target audience
Work with leaders at all levels to inform communications, change plans, and develop mitigation tactics
Update and refocus communication and engagement activities as required to address specific challenges
Working Conditions
The role has standard working conditions in an office environment with a regular workweek from Monday to Friday. The role requires occasional travel (up to 25%) to various North American terminals. Due to the nature of the role, the incumbent must be able to meet tight deadlines, handle pressure, and stress.
Requirements
Experience
Change Management Programs
Between 3 to 7 years of experience in supporting change management programs in large transformation initiatives
o Experience in project management and process improvement
o Experience in a large consulting firm
o Experience in supply chain operations and transportation
o Experience in providing training, change management, and communication in a unionized workforce, as well as to Management
o Experience in technology transformation programs*

Education/Certification/Designation
Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Engineering or equivalent
Change Management Certificate such as Prosci ADKAR*
