We are currently seeking a Change Enablement Specialist to join our team.

The Change Enablement specialist works as part of a squad, displaying agile mindset, values, and principles. They provide change expertise and facilitation to ensure alignment to the First West Change Management Framework and policies in the incremental delivery of value from squad. In addition, they bring a risk analyst lens to the squad to ensure operational and regulatory risks are identified and controls are being modified or created as needed by the squad. The role will collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze complex business problems to identify business needs ensuring value realization. The chapter member facilitates the involvement of related CoE resources as required, such as Legal, Risk, and Compliance as well as Communications and Learning and Development from a change enablement perspective. As a Chapter member, work will be prioritized by the Product Owner with a primary focus on their specialized area.

Here\'s what would be included as a part of your typical day * Change Facilitation: Proactively enables change within the squad through facilitation of impact and stakeholder assessments. Solicits input and feedback from identified stakeholders and CoE\'s and provides information and a recommended approach back to squad. Applies the change management tools and frameworks to ensure adoption and sustainment is realized.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Proactively interacts with diverse stakeholders, such as Member Fulfillment, Corporate Security, Risk, as well as end users and process owners across the organization. Asks questions and challenges assumptions to understand the issues and needs, applies critical thinking to ensure business processes are bringing value. Acts as subject matter expert on operations and other areas of the business, as required.
  • Business Process Analysis: Applies an advanced level of business and technical expertise to the analysis of complex business problems and assessment of how automated systems can be implemented to solve them. Liaises with business owners and stakeholders across the organization to facilitate the planning, design, development, and implementation of new and business processes. Applies a variety of techniques to capture and define the client\'s business processes, current state gaps and issues, as well as emerging business requirements. Understands and applies in depth knowledge of the business operations.
  • Risk Mitigation Liaises with Centres of Expertise including Regulatory & Legal, Operations, Credit, Information Technology and Finance for the purpose of following risk and compliance frameworks.
  • Squad Work Completion: Contributes to the delivery of squad day to day work items outside of core responsibilities as needed; will have a primary assignment to one squad and may split time between two squads in need of their specialist skill set (subject to the resourcing requirements agreed by the pod leads in consultation with the chapter lead).
  • Best Practices Development: Attends Chapter meetings and contribute to the refinement and development of change enablement chapter best practices.
Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications
  • Diploma in related discipline required; bachelor\'s degree preferred
  • 4 - 6 years related experience in a business systems or solutions analysis function or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Change Management Certification would be an asset
  • Lean or Agile Certification training would be an asset
  • Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment (agile squad) but isn\'t afraid to tell it like it is
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing with a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Adaptability, nimbleness & strong organizational skills
  • Ability to facilitate conversations and keep audience focused on business outcomes across all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to think both strategically and tactically, looking for innovation
  • Brings a high-energy, \xe2\x80\x9ccan-do\xe2\x80\x9d passionate outlook to the job and can influence those around them
  • Applies critical thinking to effectively assess risks and opportunities
  • Business operations and risk analysis skills
  • Displays an understanding of risk and risk ownership by being able to demonstrate adherence to policies and procedures.
