Overview


We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide high-quality care to residents in healthcare and assisted living settings. This role involves assisting individuals with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting their well-being. Ideal candidates will have experience in nursing home environments, senior care, or working with people with disabilities. The Support Worker plays a vital role in delivering personalized care, including medication administration, meal preparation, and supporting patients with dementia or hospice needs. Responsibilities



Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Provide medication administration following prescribed protocols and medical terminology guidelines Support patients with dementia, hospice care, or disabilities by offering companionship and tailored care plans Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and assist with feeding when necessary Maintain a clean and safe environment through light cleaning and sanitation practices Monitor residents' health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or case managers Assist with mobility, heavy lifting, and transfers to ensure safety for residents and staff Document care provided accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies Collaborate with nursing staff, case managers, and family members to coordinate comprehensive patient care

Qualifications



Prior experience in nursing homes, senior care, home care, assisted living, or working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable Knowledge of dementia care, hospice care, medication administration, and medical terminology is preferred Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate attitude towards residents' needs Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with mobility support Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and healthcare teams Basic cleaning skills to maintain a hygienic environment Certification in caregiving or relevant healthcare training is a plus but not required Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

MONDAY-5am-8am

TUESDAY 6am-9am

WEDNESDAYS 6am-9am

THURSDAY 6am-9am

FRIDAYS 6am-9am

WEDNESDAYS 6pm-10pm

FRIDAYS 6pm-10pm

SATURDAYS 5pm-7pm

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15 per week

Work Location: In person
