The Role
The Global Product Information team of Technical Writers and Instructional Designers is responsible for creating and publishing documentation and training deliverables for Dematic standard solutions, subsystems, and products. We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for an intern with analytics experience to support our training and certification content development team.

The Global Product Information team of Technical Writers and Instructional Designers is responsible for creating and publishing documentation and training deliverables for Dematic standard solutions, subsystems, and products. We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for an intern with analytics experience to support our training and certification content development team.

As the Certification Intern, you\xe2\x80\x99ll assist with administering our certification authoring and learning management system (Brightspace). You\xe2\x80\x99ll help with the day-to-day maintenance of the system (creating and managing user accounts, enrolling users in courses, answering user questions, etc.).

You\xe2\x80\x99ll be paired with an Instructional Designer to create course content. You\xe2\x80\x99ll participate in needs analysis with subject matter experts and work with colleagues to develop training and content using online instructional design tools and approaches that follow best practices for course development and review processes.

Other tasks you might be called upon to do include:

\xc2\xb7 Creating reports and analytic dashboards; You\xe2\x80\x99ll be responsible for data analysis using both Excel and Brightspace\xe2\x80\x99s Insight Report Builder. We have some preliminary reports, but there\xe2\x80\x99s always demand for more! We want someone who\xe2\x80\x99s unafraid to dive into the multitude of datasets available, wield their SQL/data analysis skills, and take us to the next level of automated reporting. Of course, you\xe2\x80\x99ll do all this while maintaining user confidentiality and complying with regional data privacy laws.

\xc2\xb7 Researching new Brightspace (LMS) features and how the team can implement them; Help drive process improvements on how our team uses the system. You\xe2\x80\x99ll research new features and propose

how they can be used and implemented to drive efficiency while making learning engaging at Dematic.

\xc2\xb7 Contributing to internal social media campaigns and minor graphic design

What We Are Looking For:

\xc2\xb7 Day to day administration of Brightspace Learning Management System (LMS)

\xc2\xb7 Analyze training needs, develop curriculum, design and build training content

\xc2\xb7 Research, test, and help implement new Brightspace features and train instructional designers in effective usage

\xc2\xb7 Confidentially manage certification analytics and develop reports that benefit both the Global Product Information Team and our stakeholders

\xc2\xb7 Other LMS administration and course development duties as required

Qualifications:

\xc2\xb7 Proven experience with data analytics

\xc2\xb7 Outstanding communication and organizational skills

\xc2\xb7 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail

\xc2\xb7 Experience with Brightspace or other certification authoring systems is an asset

\xc2\xb7 Experience with Brightspace\xe2\x80\x99s Insight Report Build, PowerBI, Tableau is an asset
