Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant to support our educational team in fostering a positive learning environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, particularly in special education settings, and possess a strong foundation in subjects such as Math and reading. This role is essential in helping students achieve their academic goals while providing necessary support to educators, and the ability to run a classroom.

Duties

Assist teachers in preparing instructional materials and classroom activities. Support students with special education needs by implementing individualized education plans Help maintain an organized and engaging classroom environment conducive to learning. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to educators regarding student performance. Utilize computerized tools for tracking student progress and managing classroom resources. Collaborate with teachers to develop educational strategies that meet the diverse needs of students.

Skills

Experience working with children, particularly in educational or special education settings. Strong knowledge of high school Math/reading principles. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students and staff. Ability to educate and engage students through creative teaching methods. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within the classroom setting.

Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
