Job Description
Resurrection Cemetery located at 2643 Kings Road, Sydney Forks, NS is a nonprofit business serving people of all faiths and cultures with compassion, repect and dignity providing a sacred place of faith, hope, prayer and comfort, maintianing a pleasant, caring and peaceful environment of an everlasting tribute to our deceased cemetery members and their families.
We are looking for a Groundskeeper to join our team to assist maintaining our cemetery grounds. The successful candidate is expected to have a strong work ethic, able to work in a team setting, willing to learn new tasks and take direction from team leaders. The ideal candidate should have experience in landscaping, gardening, use of lawn mowers, trimmers and operate/drive other landscaping equipment such as cemetery utility vehicles. Must have a valid driver's license. First Aid and CPR would be an asset.
Responsibilities:
Maintain grounds and landscaping. Burial site repair and maintenance Marker installation Burial setup and closing of burial sites Regular Equipment maintenance General maintenance of cemetery buildings Ensure that all safety protocols are followed. Ensure that the cemetery rules and regulations are followed. Other duties assigned by managment

Job Type: Seasonal
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
Schedule:
Monday to Friday Weekends as needed

Secondary School (preferred)
