Are you a skilled, reliable and experienced Caulking Technician looking for a rewarding opportunity? As a technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to Caulking: sealing joints and gaps, firestopping etc. From time-to-time pressure washing and/or dryer vent cleaning may be required. We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team for both commercial and residential clients in the HRM.

Responsibilities:

- Ability to perform caulking tasks effectively for Commercial and Residential Properties.

- Conduct thorough inspections to identify areas that require caulking or re-caulking and ensure compliance with industry standards.

- Select and use appropriate caulking materials based on the type of window, weather conditions, and building specifications.

- Remove old or damaged caulking as required.

- Prepare surfaces for caulking, ensuring cleanliness and proper adhesion.

- Apply caulking materials to windows, doors, joints, and other exterior structures.

- Ability to tool joints.

- Communicate with clients and team members in a professional manner.

- Ensure all work meets company quality standards and client expectations.

- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations.

- Maintain tools and equipment to ensure efficiency and safety.

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong knowledge and experience on construction sites an asset.

- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Capable on going up ladders up to forty feet.

- Capable of operating Aerial Work Platforms (Boom).

- Capable of operating, assembling and dissembling Swing Stage.

Experience:

Construction: 1 year (preferred)

License/Certification:

Driving License (preferred)
