Join Deleon Affordable Roofing as a Tendered 5+ Year Residential Roofing Installer, where your primary role will be to expertly install roofing and skylite systems with precision and care in Halifax Regional Municipality

Responsibilities

• Perform installations of products according to provided blueprints and specifications.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time.
• Install and repair roofing systems, specializing in metal panels and laminated asphalt shingles
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete installation tasks.
• Conduct heavy lifting as required for various installations, ensuring proper safety protocols are followed.
• Ensure all installations meet safety and quality standards.
• Apply caulking and other finishing materials as needed for a polished final product.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to quality standards.
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the installation process and provide effective solutions.
• Provide excellent customer service and address client concerns effectively.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored after use.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding installation processes and timelines.
• Conduct Daily Tool Box Talks

Qualifications

• Offer for Employement is Subject to PreEmployment Drug and Alchol Testing
• Proven experience as an Roofing Installation Technician /Minium 300 Installations
• Ability to learn new techniques and mentor junior installers.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings.
• Must have your own tools of the trade
• Strong skills in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as part of the installation process.
• Knowledge of caulking techniques and finishing work is preferred.
• Background in carpentry is a plus, demonstrating versatility in installation tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective client interaction.

Pay: $63,817.00-$75,000.00 per year
