In this role, you'll help ensure our catering events run smoothly, from setup to service to cleanup. You'll work closely with the team, keep things on schedule, and make sure every event meets our high standards. What You'll Be Doing
• Assist the catering office team with event preparation.
• Supervise catering events, making sure everything runs smoothly.
• Set up event spaces, ensuring buffets, signage, and service stations are in place.
• Maintain knowledge of food and beverage items, including dietary restrictions.
• Ensure event staff are in the right positions and following the schedule.
• Jump in when needed--whether it's refilling a buffet, clearing tables, or assisting guests.
• Train and guide part-time catering staff.
• Keep everything clean, organized, and running efficiently.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism.
• Assist other departments as needed to provide great service.
What We're Looking For
• 2+ years of experience in high-volume dining or hospitality.
• Strong leadership skills--someone who can guide and support a team.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy environment.
• A high school diploma (or equivalent experience).
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Basic math skills for handling billing and inventory.
• A flexible schedule--including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Smart Serve Certification required.
• Advanced Food Safety Certification is a plus!
