Catering Sales Manager

Here is what you will be doing each day:



Meet and greet clients, conduct property tours, determine requirements and propose customized catering and event solutions, promoting hotel facilities Negotiate prices and prepare meticulous banquet event orders Plan menus and oversee venue, equipment, food and service preparations. Liaise with clients, sales staff, culinary and banquet service teams, and specialized catering equipment providers to ensure the perfect event! Adhere to food and health industry regulations and standards. Research catering trends and promote competitive catering services. Actively source, prospect and solicit annual, week-day and weekend catering, meetings & events business Establish a rapport with and entertain meeting planners while promoting hotel facilities and services. Conduct walking site inspections throughout property. Plan and conduct pre and post-convention meetings with clients and respective departments. Other duties as assigned.

Does this sound like you?



2-3 years of previous experience in catering sales, conference services and/or event management Advanced knowledge of catering management best practices Knowledge of electronic catering sales management systems, such as Delphi FDC. Exceptional ability to deliver catering services within budget and on time. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Organized and detail-oriented with ability to multi-task. Team player and a self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a team Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $61,000.00-$68,000.00 per year
