Catering Coordinator Assistant

This position will be to assist the general manager and catering team with event inquiries and coordination.

Responsibilities:


- Communicate with catering clients via phone/email to understand their specific needs and preferences.

- Handle inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns that may arise from clients.

- Create invoices for events, collect payment details, charge credit cards & ring through computer system.

- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the planning and execution process.

- Collaborate with the catering manager & catering prep cooks to prepare/deliver orders - some early mornings and weekends required.

- Prepare & deliver catering equipment for events, buffet set-up, event service.

Experience/Requirements:
- Previous experience in an administrative setting is required

- Previous experience in the restaurant or hotel industry is preferred
- Knowledge of Excel & POS systems would be considered an asset
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and safety standards
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Attention to detail and excellent communication to work effectively with clients, vendors, and team members

- Must be a quick learner, self-starter, and able to work efficiently
- The successful candidate will have their own transportation - position requires use of vehicle (delivering orders and transporting staff).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,000.00-$42,000.00 per year
